Rosemary Buhrman
Hi! My name is Rosemary Buhrman, and my pronouns are she/her. I have been at DSA since 6th grade, and I have been making art since I was very young, starting with mostly weird marker scribbles. I started doing more serious 3D pieces with Mr. Martinez in 7th grade, and I loved getting to learn about new materials. My current favorite is mixed media, specifically cardboard, wire, sticks, and other stuff I find outside or around the house. I am excited to continue making art in college, specifically getting to make more large-scale community pieces and installations in college.
My favorite art as a kid was the animation in Studio Ghibli films and the clay-mation work in Coraline and other Laika films. My favorite art now ranges from large-scale moving art to miniature pieces from Cityfolk Studio.
